Our facility is a 1-acre state of the art venlo-glass greenhouse.
We are hiring a Harvest Supervisor to oversee the harvest process.
This position will oversee everything from pre harvest through curing.
As the Harvest Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the efficient and safe production of quality products, while leading team development and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
You will be responsible for team completion of targeted goals and assurance of the highest possible quality.
This position is also responsible for assisting with packaging and coordination of workers.
This position will report directly to the Processing Manager.
Duties Monitor dry room conditions, make adjustments so product is ready on targeted days Train employees on how to quickly trim product while setting a high standard for quality Enforce employee dress code Assign cleaning duties to keep the area spotless Manage employee schedules Hold employees accountable to company standards Create team structure and assign responsibilities so the team will function smoothly in any situation Check in with the Processing Manager before harvest to determine harvest order.
Stay current with I-502 laws and regulations and keep company in compliance Assign and oversee non harvest duties for the team when not harvesting or dry trimming.

Coordinate with Processing Manager Set goals for your team and create a reward system with management Develop and engage your team through regular, clear and consistent performance management and personal development Foster an environment of employee engagement by embracing a culture that encourages teamwork, cooperation and continuous improvement.
Improve value-add by enhancing yield, optimizing processing, reducing process waste, aligning product specifications with materials.
Initiate improvements to remove bottlenecks, improve quality, and lower costs Collect data through the entire process to show efficiencies And anything that needs to be done to produce the highest quality flower and make the process as efficient as possible Required Strong leadership skills, able to motivate the harvest team and keep the pace of the department moving along Ability to complete tracking and management spreadsheets and documents under the direction of Processing Manager Ability to manage high stress situation and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation require it Self motivated Remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations Ability to communicate through various formats including email and phone At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US Ability to calmly work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Knowledgeable in conventional agriculture growing practices Strong understanding of the drying and curing process Has experience running a team effectively while creating a positive work environment A good understanding of the post harvest flow.
