Your duties will include reading formula sheets, picking all materials off the inventory shelves, and weighing out each individual material an order calls for, signing off on and sealing each raw material as you go.
We are a dietary supplement manufacturing company, your intense sense of detail and precision is required in this position, all materials must be weighed out accurately for the company to thrive as a whole.
Weigher's responsibilities are:
Understand and follow instructions and established procedures Gather all material and equipment needed to begin the process Perform precision measurements to ensure perfect quantity of components Prepare components according to measurements and specifications Organize and put together all materials in a finished barrel ensuring all materials are double verified by you and another person before completion Using multiple scales and taking care of them ensuring that they are working properly to get the job done right Cleaning and sanitizing your work room and all utensils as per your training, ensuring all cleaning is documented and signed off on before moving to the next steps Manage records of production quantities and time; making sure all your documents are filled out properly Weigher requirements are:
Must be able to consistently lift up to 50lbs unassisted Must be able to climb ladders up to 15' high, and preferably be willing to be trained to use a forklift to make reaching raw materials easier Must have strict attention to detail, be able to use scales and scoops for proper measurements Must have knowledge or willingness to learn the metric system for weights (Milligrams, Grams and Kilos) Strong technical knowledge with good understanding of quality control principles Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition Strong communication skills We are willing to train the right candidate for this job, we are looking for someone with a sense of integrity in their work who is willing to learn a new skill Job Type:
