Mercy Housing Management is currently hiring for a Full-Time, Property Manager for our beautiful community located in Ferndale, WA which will begin leasing in January 2024 for move ins in April 2024.
The Property Manager position offers a rewarding work environment with a competitive benefit and compensation package which include medical, dental, vision, 403B (with company match,) and paid vacation and holidays.
We also pay all employees 3 thank you hours per week so you work 37 hrs.
and get paid for 40! This property is a beautiful HUD and LIHTC community which consists of 100 beautiful apartment homes.

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Enters data in resident accounts receivable ledgers; codes invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintains resident records documentation to comply with appropriate affordable housing regulations.
On a monthly basis, assists with collection of rent and other income, makes bank deposits, and forwards receipts to National Office.
Oversees the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
Responds to customer service requests and ensures timely and satisfactory completion.
Collaborates with site team and residents to create and strengthen a healthy community, facilitate on-site communication, and monitor property goals.
Follows and enforces all fair housing and local landlord and tenant laws and regulations.
Performs general clerical functions for the property.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Ensures that resident concerns are appropriately addressed in a timely manner.
Ensures the delivery of great customer service to residents.
In conjunction with Resident Services, effectively conducts regularly scheduled resident meetings.
Follows and enforces all fair housing and local landlord and tenant laws and regulations.
Participates in appropriate community and neighborhood meetings.
May perform other duties in the categories above as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Professional certification in property or affordable housing management preferred.
Abilities:
-Relate well to people from diverse backgrounds.
-Ability to assume leadership and take initiative in the absence of a manager.
-Work in a collaborative manner as a member of a site team.
-Learn and adhere to complex regulatory requirements - Maintain resident account receivable ledgers under supervision.
-Comprehend and communicate in the English language both orally and in writing.
-Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license).
-Travel occasionally.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
-Define and solve problems.
-Understand and commit to the Mission and Values of Mercy Housing.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
