Distribution Manager
Our client, located north of Ferndale, WA is seeking a Distribution Manager responsible for the profitable operation of the branch warehouse.
Responsible for directing warehousing activities, including receiving, fulfillment, floor maximization and engineering, cross-border trucking and inventory management and leading a well-trained and motivated staff. Responsible for the development of the annual budget, monitoring monthly P&L, and successfully onboarding new business.
Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on building and attracting new business and helping to build revenue. This position works very closely with the sales team.
Bachelor's degree or extensive on-the-job training and experience and a minimum of five years of recent distribution and logistics work experience. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and transportation, warehouse and inventory experience is required. Cross-border trucking experience is a plus.
