Unarmed Security Officer

Job Description

Unarmed Security Officer responsible for conducting static security at client site in a marine environment in the Ferndale area. Officers will be required to be on their feet for long periods of time; work outside in the elements (weather). These positions require individuals that possess self discipline, a good work ethic, and punctuality. Primary responsibility is to detect, deter, and report crime, fire, unusual events and emergencies. Also, responsible for maintaining accountability for all crew members aboard vessels in port.
Part Time, intermittent position.
High School/GED required and must be 18 years of age or older.
Possessing a current Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) a plus.
No criminal convictions, felonies or gross misdemeanors, that would preclude you from obtaining a WA State unarmed security officer license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
