Associate Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:

The Associate Customer Service Representative is responsible for processing customer orders, scheduling deliveries, monitoring production concerns and communicating with customers. Works with customers, production and marketing to timely respond to and resolve customer complaints.

Associate Customer Service Representative are also involved in the peripheral activities associated with these core activities and operating a customer focused business.

Associate Customer Service Representative provide a key role to our business. They perform a variety of customer facing activities, including:

Logistical processing of customer orders, including coordination with sales, production, warehouses and transportation.

Resolving escalated or difficult issues regarding customer complaints and other matters.

Working closely with other departments, such as sales and production, to resolve internal complications that impact our customers.

Providing proactive communication with customers via telephone, email, and a SMS Texting Solution.

Principal Accountabilities:

30% - Process incoming orders via phone or electronic transmission. Use AS400 and Microsoft outlook, and Electronic Data Interchange to receive and enter customer orders.

20% - Resolve or escalate concerns regarding customer complaints. Continuously update customers as needed on order status, shorts, and complaint resolution or progress.

20% - Continuously communicate with Plant Operations to assess production status as it related to customer orders. Adjust orders as needed based on plant performance. Work with Sales Consultants to address customer concerns, order projects, and new customer setup.

15% - Work directly with Cargill Transportation and Logistics to schedule and edit customer deliveries. Monitor dedicated carrier fill rate and control less than load costs.

15% - Receive inbound calls and orders from multiple locations/customers as needed to support your team

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
